What are the specific tasks?
As process managers, we oversee the technical aspects of all products in production. We monitor the introduction of new product ramp-ups in production in close cooperation with R&D. We also strive to improve yield and reduce costs, without compromising quality. In order to keep the production flow efficient and stable, we also analyze and document production metrics and determine which strategic measures need to be taken.
What are the daily challenges?
If a material is blocked due to an error, the task is to identify the cause of the problem and to guide the investigation. Once the cause is found, you will work with your colleagues to decide whether measures can be taken to improve production yield.
