Your tasks

• Participate in the planning, installation and operation of the network infrastructure for over 40 locations of the Straumann Group worldwide


• Problem analysis and troubleshooting (2nd level support)


• Act as a project team member in IT projects (work packages network)


• Conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations, including coordination with providers


• Maintenance of the system documentation


• On-Call Service (“Pikettdienst)

Your profile

• Educational background in technical computer science , FH / HF degree beneficial


• At least 3-5 years of experience in network administration, routing & switching


• Cisco CCNP Routing & Switching Certification


• Experience with routing protocols, especially OSPF, BGP, EIGRP


• Experience with WAN Optimization (Riverbed and Cisco WAAS)


• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls is an advantage


• Experience with network automation and programming is an advantage (Python, API)


• Very good German and English language skills (writing & speaking)


• Independent, customer-oriented, initiative and dedicated team player


• Ready to travel for 2-3 international business trips per year
