 CIB004177)  The open position is for a qualified, highly motivated coverage person with experience in acquiring new clients, covering Swiss corporates, and regular interaction with clients at C-level. A solid and broad risk culture (compliance, credit, CSR etc.) is a pre-requisite. You will work within the BNP Paribas CIB Team in Zurich and provide a strong contribution by onboarding new client relationships and providing a broad range of network banking solutions to our existing client base. 
Main Activities 

  • Develop the Swiss corporate coverage franchise and onboard new client relationships

  • Bring the best of our corporate world to our clients/prospects in close partnership with key business lines

  • Act as the primary contact point for any client need and maintain client relationship at all levels

  • Secure the promotion, signing and continuous increase of flow business (cash management, trade, fixed income) with a special focus on FX

  • Engage in strategic dialogue with clients to ensure access to value added mandates. Upgrade relationships to C-level. Develop trusted relationship with shareholders of family owned businesses

  • Secure the increase of revenue, Client RAROC and CVC on portfolio of Pilot clients: provide OneBank solutions and originate all BNPP products together with Business Lines (CIB, WM, Arval, Factor etc.)

  • Ensure the efficient marketing of the Group network in cooperation with Contributor RMs as required

  • Ensure the active monitoring and reporting of corporate risks on the client portfolio

  • Ensure that the compliance rules (KYC) and all BNPP regulations for client onboarding and servicing are observed, as well as any local country regulations with respect to the client portfolio

  • Prepare Client Action Plans, together with Business Lines

  • Maintain the Client First database (call reports, status of opportunities, deal pipeline management)

  • In coordination with Senior Bankers covering Strategic Clients:

    • Support the origination of day-to-day banking services like GTS, Cash Management, Factoring etc. together with the business lines

    • Promote and increase the usage of our international network, coordinate local MNC bankers, organize internal communication flows, implement the commercial strategy, and monitor revenue, exposure and profitability 



Required Skills 

  • Ability to identify and develop business opportunities with Swiss Corporates

  • Ability to acquire and develop clients and conclude deals using a OneBank approach

  • Capacity to build relationships with clients and in particular, key decision makers as well as internally with network & business partners

  • Technical and behavioral capabilities and ability to work efficiently with Business Lines

  • Fluency in (Swiss) German, English and French is an advantage

  • Extensive knowledge of  flow products and risk

  
Soft Skills 

  • High degree of independence and self-motivation, proactive, business-driven, result-oriented personality combined with a strong team working skills and ability to establish and maintain good relationships with clients and colleagues alike

 
Profile 

  • University degree in Banking/Economics/Finance or equivalent

  • Minimum of 10 years relevant banking experience in the Swiss Mid-Cap segment

  • Local language skills and deep understanding of network banking
