What's the role?


Based on our current modern cordless impact drivers and wrenches designed for high performance in various light to heavy-duty driving and bolting applications, you’ll work with us to develop the control strategies and innovative features of the future. Rapid control prototyping setups and on-site testing build the infrastructure to bring your new ideas to life.


Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for at least 6 months

What does the role involve?


As intern in our department you’ll be part of a development team researching innovative approaches for cordless impact drivers and wrenches.


You’ll work closely with our experts to develop to develop new functions and strategies to generate additional benefits and increase performance. Your key responsibilities will be to design and test your own algorithms with state-of-the-art development tools. You’ll test and apply them in the real application and support our team in evaluating the most promising solutions.

What you need is:



  • BSc/MSc level studies in control engineering, cybernetics, mechanical or electrical engineering with focus on control systems or a related discipline

  • Good knowledge in Matlab/Simulink and dSPACE tools, background in machine learning and/or embedded control is a plus

  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
