The Program Manager RF Automotive is the lead for customer engagements for Automotive serial development (radar) projects. This role is assigned to key accounts to manage customer communication of both business and technical information. An effective Program Manager builds personal relationships with both executive and technical staff at the customer because she/he is a focal-point of contact to organize communication, manage expectations and review content for consistency, accuracy and appropriateness teams to bring projects together with the teams into a successful SOP ramp up. This role brings the voice of the customer into the organization and the voice of the organization to the customer. The Program Manager Automotive works closely with global account managers, market management and our product and process development teams as well as with operations responsible for the manufacturing line.
Driving our responses to key customer RFQ inquiries in conjunction with the market manager automotive and providing critical review for accuracy and consistency
Hosting regular calls and meetings with customers to track program execution
Organizing technical workshops in conjunction with sales, technical team and market managers
Building deep knowledge of the account to advise internal teams about account dynamics, customer preferences and build continuity across programs over time
Briefing our executives on account dynamics and project status ahead of executive meetings
European focused role with international travel, mostly within Europe (Germany) (~40%)
Your profile
BS in a technical field (Electrical or mechanical engineer)
5-10 years of experience in a customer facing role in, program management, project management or similar
Demonstrated experience in automotive industry
An “ownership” mind set where you feel responsible for the success of the customer engagement
Organizational skills to track actions and owners incl. project management (5+ years)
As part of a global team you convincingly communicate well in English and German
