What's the role?


Bringing operational excellence to the next level will be the main target of this internship.
In order to increase speed and agility within the plant you will be running projects related to agile planning, smart factory and value-stream optimization. If you are goal-oriented, innovative and self-reliant, you will be part of a small and motivated team that will support you to realize your full potential.

What does the role involve?


As intern in our department, you will be part of the lean team with a high focus on the implementation of projects regarding operational excellence in the manufacturing area, leading to a higher level in transparency, adaptability and predictability.


Your key responsibilities will be to support the lean team by developing a smart factory vision road map and evaluate the existing use cases within the plant. Additionally, you will analyse the value stream for a specific product family and find ways to achieve the perfect flow. This may be complemented by facilitating kaizen workshops.


Moreover, the internship will give insights regarding the sales & operations process & agile planning which is currently under implementation throughout the whole organization. You will support the team to integrate further production steps & suppliers, which will lead to higher accuracy in planning and forecasting, as well as a higher product availability to our customers.

The Lean Department acts as change agent to implement innovative mindsets within the organization.

What you need is:



  • Bachelor's degree and currently studying in a master’s program with an economic or technical background

  • Good IT and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed

  • Strong team skills, interest in working in a multinational team

  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and ideally another language

  • High commitment and self-responsibility

  • A proactive approach and self-reliant personality
