You will have global impact in driving a product portfolio to achieve product market leadership. Therefore, you will evaluate the market to identify potential and business opportunities always having the customers’ needs and competitors’ moves in mind. You will support Hilti market organizations worldwide with expertise and guidance to improve sales performance and contribute to a strong global growth for the company.

What does the role involve?


In this role you will have global impact in driving a product portfolio to achieve product market leadership. You are considered the business owner of your portfolio. You will monitor and evaluate the market environment including market potential, key applications, customers' needs and competitor moves for strategy definition as well as definition of new business opportunities for the relevant product lines. You assume marketing responsibilities in new product development projects (e.g. marketing strategy, data management, launch preparations, customer tests, trainings, etc.) and work closely with local marketing and sales teams. You take ownership of managing the assigned product portfolio along the product lifecycle (e.g. monitoring results, define actions to grow the product lines, managing market requests and other day-to-day tasks). You actively influence sales development through innovative marketing approaches, competence build up and launch support in relevant sales region and support local market organizations to setup and implement local product and/or market leadership strategies.
Our Product Managers are the voice of and the voice to our market organization for the Business Unit and therewith ensure we achieve the Business Unit goals.

What you need is:



  • Master in business (ideally with a focus on marketing or strategic business, MBA is a plus) and/or engineering (ideally civil or mechanical engineering)

  • At least 3 years of professional marketing or sales experience in a B2B environment with a successful track record

  • Open-minded personality feeling confident presenting in front of larger audience

  • A strong drive to develop yourself and the portfolio for which you are responsible for

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus, other languages are beneficial
