What's the role?


Investigate, understand and describe drilling and demolition processes of percussion hammer drilling systems as a basis for developing new systems with superior performance and robustness.


Start date is flexible to the student's availability, duration for 3-6 months

What does the role involve?


As an intern in our department you’ll be part of a project team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop an optimized percussive hammer drilling system.


Your key responsibilities will be the analysis of drilling and demolition processes. You'll conceptually design, set-up and perform experiments to investigate the influences of system parameters on demolition mechanisms. Your activities will support the project team in developing proposals for technical solutions and prototypes.

You’ll work with some of the industry’s most trusted and innovative engineering products.

What you need is:



  • Bachelor in mechanical engineering or material science

  • Experience in material analysis

  • Methodical and independent work ethic

  • Passion for innovation and product development

  • Strong communication skills, with excellent English and interpersonal skills
