Tasks



  • Dealing with counterparties regarding cargo operational requirements as set out in deal contract e.g. nominations (ships, delivery window, demurrage etc.), vessel and terminal clearances, quality and quantity of delivery, cargo invoices etc.

  • Internal stakeholder management (Trading, Legal, Treasury, Risk, etc.)

  • Reviewing LNG Master Sales Agreement (MSA) and Confirmation Notices (CN) to ensure accuracy

  • Appointing approved inspectors and ensuring cargo loading and discharging is in line with credit or L/C requirements

  • Checking all calculations relating to the trade (product, inspectors, cargo, superintendents, gains/ losses, insurance and additives)

  • Assisting/making claims where necessary

  • Maintaining accurate records of each cargo including prompt and accurate filing

  • Supporting the Operations Development team in their other areas of responsibility (Outsourcing, development of Logistics functions for Gas and Power etc.)

  • Being part of the out-of-hours support team


Profile



  • University degree

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in LNG commercial operations

  • Background in logistics and shipping (Incoterms, processes, Letters of Credit, documentation, etc.)

  • Great attention to detail and high results orientation

  • Knowledge on using SAP and Endur is a plus

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
