Introducing IoT to monitor device operation in the field can drastically improve incident announce and support response time.

 

Based on a real case, we propose to set up a cloud IoT infrastructure to route a device’s incident to a field service system where the customer context will be used to automate the creation of the onsite intervention order. Artificial intelligence and machine learning can be used to optimize devices maintenance and propose resolution methodology.

In this role

You will have to research and propose an IoT architecture covering the customer needs. You will set up a prototype with following features:

• Cloud IoT platform


• New outage identification and transmission


• Ticket creation in the back end system


• Creation of the corresponding intervention order


• AI/ML functionalities to recommend intervention type and preventive actions.


• Real-time monitoring and reporting platform

 

A demonstrable Proof of Concept is expected.
