in individualized development of pharmaceuticalsIhre Aufgaben:The position entails teaching and research in pharmaceutical science in the defined specialty area. The successful candidate will have scientific expertise in biopharmacy, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacology to the extend these are pertinent and applicable to individualized drug development. S/he should have competence in one or more of the fields of computational and/or data-science approaches, in vitro or cell culture methods, modeling and simulation, and pharmacogenomics and use this in her/his research. S/he is expected to recruit and head a research group and establish an interdisciplinary extramurally funded research program. The job description encompasses teaching at the Bachelor and the Master level in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology and in vitro assays, supervising student projects and theses and representing these topics within the curriculum in the study majors of pharmaceutical technology, bio-analytics and chemistry. Teaching at the Bachelor level must take place in German. The eligible candidate should establish contacts and foster regular interaction with industry for the benefit of current teaching and research. S/he generates technological know-how, publishes in the scientific literature and contributes towards making the School an important player in the field.Ihr Profil:A university diploma with a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical, natural or medical sciences are required. Work experience in a praxis-oriented environment and demonstrated ability to conduct scientific research are essential. Ideally, candidates should be qualified to teach at higher education level or, if necessary, agree to undertake didactic training after assuming the position.
