Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) is taking the next step in our strategy to develop and expand our digital offering, by establishing a new Product Area (PA), Sandvik Applied Manufacturing Technologies (SAMT), with a dual mission: to profitably expand our position within manufacturing by creating and bringing premium digital offerings to markets across the manufacturing value chain, and to support value creation through digitalization across all businesses within SMS. The missions are reflected in the structure of SAMT consisting of two principle parts. One part is a portfolio of customer facing and self-sufficient Business Units (BU’s) which is growing fast, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions, and already contain several leading brands in their respective fields. The other part is the development of Center of Digital Excellence (CODE), to ensure high quality support to these BU’s and to execute the digital strategy across SMS.
SAMT is transforming how we integrate and grow companies in a digital business portfolio. Because of this, we are now looking for an Integration Project Manager to join our recently formed Integration team. This is an exciting opportunity to excel your career as SAMT continues to expand its footprints within the digital space of manufacturing. You get to be in from the very beginning, with planned merger and acquisition projects on an international level ahead of you and in a position where you truly drive positive change.
This position is located at Epicenter in Stockholm, and international travel is a natural part of the job.
Your mission – Managing integration projects with a proactive and holistic mindset
In this position, you are responsible for execution and implementation of integration projects in close collaboration with senior managers. This includes communications, resource plans, coordinating internal resources, developing project plans to define deliverables, establishing timelines and identifying dependencies and critical path items.
