Rieter is a leading supplier in the world market for textile machinery and components used in short staple fiber spinning. Based in Winterthur (Switzerland), the company develops and manufactures systems, machinery and technology components used to convert natural and manmade fibers and their blends into yarns. Rieter is the only supplier worldwide to cover spinning preparation processes as well as all four final spinning processes currently established on the market. With 18 manufacturing locations in 10 countries, the company employs a global workforce of some 5200, about 20% of whom are based in Switzerland.



To further develop our After Sales Customer Service & Support we are looking for a



Head After Sales Support (w/m)



By leading the After Sales Customer Service and Customer Support Departments you will significantly contribute to the further development and success of Rieter’s After Sales Business Group.

You will work on the following challenging tasks and are responsible for:



  • Transform the current organization to manage the needs of Rieter’s global customer base

  • Support the digital transformation especially in terms of customer relationship management

  • Ensuring efficient processes in the customer service organization focusing on root-cause analysis and short time till problem solved.

  • Further develop and manage the global After Sales Customer Support team members (approx. 30 employees)

  • Emphasize a proactive and customer oriented service approach

  • Support the Senior Vice President After Sales Services in developing and implementing the mid-term strategy

  • Drive an open communication culture between all relevant stakeholder along the processes



Your personality, abilities and education:



  • Proven track record in building up a state of the art Service processes

  • Able to manage projects with a strategic and visionary attitude within a multi-cultural matrix organization

  • Highly customer focused and the ability to create a selling proposition based on customer needs

  • Structured and efficient problem solving skills

  • Transparent, fact based and open communication style

  • 5 years of experience in similar tasks with a leadership role

  • Degree in engineering or related education, amplified with further education in business administration

  • Excellent English language skills, German is a plus
