DIGITAL MEDIA As we accelerate our digital journey, we’re building out a Digital Media team whose goal is to build World-class approaches and results from digital advertising. Some activity is driven centrally from our Global HQ in Lausanne, Switzerland, whilst other initiatives are driven locally by markets. Collectively, we’re equipping ourselves with knowledge, skills and capabilities to deliver against our vision and fulfill our consumers’ needs. ROLE PROFILE – DIGITAL MEDIA LEAD, GLOBAL We are seeking a senior digital media professional – somebody that has been involved with digital since the beginning. You will have spent the majority of your career strategising, planning and delivering large and complex campaigns with some of the World’s leading brands. You will have demonstrable and extensive experience of managing both brand and performance-led marketing campaigns – gained from either the client or agency side (ideally a mix of both). You will possess a detailed understanding of all digital communication channels and the advertising technologies that underpin them. You constantly strive for better, even when that means challenging the status-quo. You consider yourself an expert in digital campaigning, planning and strategy – your work has probably won awards. You know what it takes to deliver exceptional marketing campaigns and you’ll be acutely aware that transformation requires a ‘sleeves rolled-up’ mentally. RESPONSIBILITIES Given your experience and expertise, we want you to help shape and own the delivery – you will evangelize and develop our approaches to and returns from digital media. Work with key internal teams and markets to ensure that digital is at the heart of their thinking Serve as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for media throughout the business Evangelize the role of digital media communications – establishing best practice and agreed standards Develop clear internal processes and governance for optimal campaign delivery – from idea to execution Manage our key agencies, publishers and suppliers – always engendering a spirit of mutual partnership Establish and implement a clear process for measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI Play a lead role in further developing and operationalizing a centralized approach to media planningbuying Recruit and develop the required digital media team to deliver against our key priorities Simplify and synthesize complex information and concepts – make digital understandable to the layman Clearly articulate business outcomes and deliver through clear deliverables, timelines and accountabilities Work with our audience and analytics team’s to , optimize, report and improve campaign performance SKILLSEXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree, MBA or Master’s – ideally in a business or marketing related field Experienced leader and manager of people in large and complex matrix organizations Broad and demonstrable experience in all aspects of digital media communications and technologies Expert level of knowledge and understanding of the digital media strategy and planning Experience working with the lead DMP’s e.g. SFDCKrux, Adobe, Oracle BlueKai Deep knowledge and experience working for or with the lead DSP’s e.g. MediaMath, DataXu, The Trade Desk Strong knowledge of data and audience management, segmentation and data privacy Experienced across brand, performance and corporate communications Experience working in one or more of the following Pharma, FMCG, Telco’s, Travel, Retail or Entertainment Ability to lead and manage in an uncertain, sometimes ambiguous and fast-paced environment JOIN A GLOBAL MARKET LEADER PMI is the world’s leading international tobacco company, with six of the world's top 15 international brands and products sold in more than 180 markets.
