We Offer
As IT Owner you collaborate with the Provider and the Sponsor Contact and will be considered a trusted partner by the business while being set in a highly motivated environment within Tax Claims
You are responsible for the future direction of application functionality, total cost of ownership, risk and maintainability
You steer the business to reduce technical complexity and support the IT organization in decisions, assessments, and reviews
By handling the application roadmap and release plan in line with business needs, provider, project managers and other stakeholders and technology risks, you guide and oversee product relevant change projects according to the business strategy and roadmap
You are seeking for opportunities and raise change requests for mitigating operational, technical or security risks
You make sure that the application / technical product is compliant with relevant key controls relating to IT risk, security and regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX and others)
You raise or reject change requests to align the business needs with stable day-to-day operations and ensure architecture and quality of the application / technical product (e.g. code reviews, NFR coverage)
In addition, you ensure that the product documentation is up-to-date and complete as well as that the risk assessments and data quality are actively handled and optimized in the inventory system
A range of tasks and responsibilities in the Software Development Lifecycle, from impact assessment, solution design and implementation, to testing and deployment within a Scrum team
You Offer
A university degree or equivalent education in information technology or information management
You have at least 3 years of experience in software engineering in a .NET environment (.NET 4.5.2, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server 2012/2014, Websphere MQ, Web API, Visual Studio 2013) as well as 2 years as an IT Application Owner
Fluency in German and English are necessary
Having experience with agile methodology (SCRUM) is an advantage
