The Swiss-based family owned company Bühler is a global, industrial solutions provider for processing foods and manufacturing advanced materials, contributing to food security and high energy efficiency.
Around 65% of the worldwide harvested grain is processed on Bühler mills, around 50% of all car taillamps or headlamps are getting metallized on Bühler machines. Every day, billions of people come into contact with Bühler technologies to cover their basic needs for foods, mobility, or communication.

Project Manager Engineering Tools and Processes (m/w)
Uzwil
Duties


  • Act as point of contact to support our team worldwide for the single machine business and the product order process

  • Create technical and functional specifications as well as data architectures and processes

  • Determine product characteristics and derive of the configuration and compatibility matrix

  • Implement improvements, changes and adjustments of to product structures together with the product development

  • Create configuration logics and master data within all applications

  • Driving continuous improvement activities for product and processes

  • Close worldwide cooperation with product development, product managers and all specialist areas such as ITP and project engineering

  • Guide the cross functional worldwide teams

  • Active support with the professional competence for the project Engineering Backbone

  • Further development of engineering tools and master data management

Qualifications


  • Higher technical education (Professional School / Technical College)

  • Minimum 3 years in Project Execution process or proof of sufficient skills

  • Basic knowledge in Windchill or Bentley software environment

  • Basic knowledge of SAP R3 and SAP VC

  • English level FCE

  • Industry knowledge and understanding of manufacturing principles

  • Strong planning, organizational and prioritizing skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with people inside and outside of the company

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Proven ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Willingness to travel
