As Global Product Manager Solution with strong marketing focus, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, managing the strategic, tactical and operational marketing activities, as well as developing and creating solution concepts fitting customer challenges and requirements. You will develop and execute the marketing plan and sales promotions for key solution and product launches, ensures a clear positioning and launch solution campaign. With your capability to break down complex challenges into executive steps, you will support us in reaching our ambitious targets.

In this role, you will be part of a passionate and high performing team. With your great collaboration and communication skills, you will bridge technical, clinical and marketing worlds. We are looking for a customer oriented, action and execution focused personality that drives the future innovation of the Straumann Dental Implant System. This position is based in Basel, Switzerland and reports to the Head of Product Management System Projects.

Your tasks

New product projects, marketing campaigns and solution projects

· Identify, collect and assess market and customer needs

· Screen and consolidate regional/country input on opportunities and gaps to implement them into global portfolio and initiative planning processes

· Define product/solution and determine the corresponding business strategy, i.e. description of problem, description of demanded solution, price positioning, promotional mix, service model, business model/impact and scientific data needed, define product roadmap

· Establish positioning, story line, messaging, and define launch campaign (tag line, visuals, materials, channels), as well as product/solution training

· Lead the Launch Process by ensuring sound downstream communication and high launch quality

· Deliver sales support and marketing material (e.g. marketing flyer, ads)

· Monitor performance and progress of commercialization for launched projects

Strategic marketing planning

· Elaborate Global Marketing Plan contents for key brands, which are global key initiatives for up-coming year or sales cycles

· Prepare detailed overview on new products for annual portfolio management process (business model, revenue estimation), collaborate with other PM in elaborating the business case (revenue stream)

· Give input on strategic marketing planning in 2 year time horizon (key initiatives, overriding topics/campaigns)

Your profile

·Master degree with major in Marketing, academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience

· 5+ years of experience in Commercial Marketing and in Product Management, preferably in medical device.

· Experience in Launch planning and execution at global level

· Experience in Project Management and in managing product development is a plus

· Ability to work in a matrix organization and a highly dynamic environment

· Demonstrate strong communication skills and high level of initiative

· Proficiency in English; other languages advantageous
