Senior IT Project Manager (temp for 12 months)

The PositionThe CTO division is responsible for the development of our international state-of-the art banking software. In order to strengthen the Project Management Team, we are looking for a highly motivated
Project Manager with strong communication and management skills.



You are responsible for the success of implementing various Software Development projects. These projects are embedded in an international environment and can vary from pure internally staffed teams to cooperation with partners and subcontractors.

You will have to coordinate the in-house development of new functionality and integration in our standard BPO offerings in a challenging technical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing projects in a complex technical environment, which serves multiple customers and are developed in multiple sites


• Identifying dependencies from other projects and coordinating the deliveries with the program management


• Managing and controlling your project, including transparent and meaningful reporting on scope, financials, progress, quality, risks and issues


• Deliver the scope within the given constraints of budget, time and quality


• Introduction of specific measures to solve project issues and timely escalation to decision-making authorities if needed

Education

• University degree in business or IT


• Profound knowledge of at least one project management methodology

Professional Requirements & Skills

• Proven track record as a project leader in large projects within the financial services industry 


• 3+ years of experience in international IT projects 


• Knowledge of the banking business and bank-related processes would be advantageous


• Negotiation skills and experience 


• Leadership experience involving interdisciplinary teams


• Experience in agile development processes 


• Fluent English language skills are a must
