For our locations in Basel, Bern, Zurich and Paris, we are looking for experienced Java Architects.

In this role

• You’ll be responsible for the conception of software architecture in various innovative Java/JavaEE projects


• You’ll accompany the project team and you’ll take over the technical lead during realisation and implementation


• You’ll coach the developer team in use of the different technologies, frameworks, methods and tools


• Your diversified field of activity includes the coordination with the architecture team at the customer, advising clients in use of IT for business process optimisation


• You’ll develop migration strategies and you’ll plan and support the implementation phase of software solutions

About your profile

For this vacancy we are looking for candidates with wide professional experience in several of the following areas:

• JavaEE server platforms such as WebSphere, Weblogic or JBoss/WildFly and Servlet Container such as Jetty and Tomcat and Java EE APIs and specifications such as EJB, JPA, JTA, CDI, JSF, JMS


• Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, PrimeFaces, Apache CXF and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Angular 2, React and single page applications)


• Relational databases, developer and build tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar and non-functional aspects like security, performance and scalability


• Different approach methods (AGILE, RUP, HERMES) and modeling tools as Enterprise Architect


• Planning and budgeting of IT projects


• You have an academic degree from a technical university, university or university of applied sciences


• You have at least five years’ experience in analysis, design and development of applications based on JavaEE technologies


• Furthermore, you are a strong team player, flexible and you have an extensive technical expertise

For the location Basel, Bern and Zurich you need to have very good language skills in German and English. For the location Paris you need to have very good language skills in French and English.
