Application Manager Paints & Coatings, Europe

  • ​Managing technical services and innovation projects in the field of paints and coatings in our region Europe;

  • Providing technology services to customers, internal and external being the technical center of expertise for paints and coating applications;

  • Lead a team of 3 persons (1 project eng, 2 lab techn);

  • Prioritizing projects and allocated resources in the laboratory;

  • Support the active participation in development projects in the field of paints and coatings;

  • Support of distribution business with laboratory projects in line with regional strategic objectives;

  • Joint customer visits with sales force if required;

  • Preparing publications (bulletins, magazines) and presentations as well as presenting to congresses and customers.



  • ​Degree (Dipl.Ing.) (FH) (B.Sc.) (M.Sc.) (PhD) in paints, coatings or polymers

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the paints and coatings (powder coating) industry or closely related

  • Expert in paints and coatings formulations

  • Good problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proven track record of good leadership

  • Communicative and driving personality who is willing to travel up to 25%

  • Fluent in German and English
