The positionAs Business Partner Controller, you are a member of the Group Controlling team. You are an experienced professional who can easily partner up with the managers in the Corporate Center. You are business and commercial minded. You know what drives the business and you define ways to measure and report on key indicators. With your strong network, you will build business plans and identify gaps and opportunities. The CFO, COO and other divisional managers will count on you to support them in financial management. You take the lead in the financial assessment of business cases and projects and ensure spend management across the organisation. You represent Controlling in projects and strategic initiatives. You also work in close co-operation within Group Controlling and the Finance department.
Your responsibilities
Ownership of the planning and forecasting process within the Corporate function
Act as a business partner to the divisional management in performance evaluation, analysis and decision taking
Ensure state-of-the art financial governance, processes, controls and submission of reporting and data (i.e. actual, budget, forecast & mid-term planning)
Provide monthly reporting to the CFO, COO and the divisional management
Analysis of spend management and profitability improvement
Lead in reviews of business cases and projects
Review and approval of commercial contracts within the Corporate Center functions
Your reporting line is to the Head Group Controlling
Education
Controlling background (i.e. University degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Finance/Accounting or equivalent)
Professional Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, i.e. controlling & business partnering, preferably within the financial industry or IT industry
Fluent in English, German is a plus
Excellent knowledge of MS-Applications and good know-how in SAP CO and BI
Personal Requirements
Strong personality on senior level and high degree of confidence
Exhibit excellent analytical skills, the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
