About This Job:



  • Develop and implement the Syngenta Legal Department Contract Lifecycle Management ambition, strategy and company-wide standards

  • Ensure operational delivery and process compliance and secure contract process-related KPI setting, tracking and reporting

  • Lead user adoption, drive process compliance and secure continuous improvement


Accountabilities:



  •  Drive Contract Lifecycle Management strategy:



    •  Develop and implement the ambition, strategy and company-wide policy for full end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management

    • Benchmark, define and promote best practice


  • Lead operational delivery and Contracts vendor relationship management

  • Develop contract lifecycle management-related KPIs, and the respective tracking and reporting processes

  • Ensure user acceptance:



    • Drive adoption and continuous improvement

    • Provide guidance on Contracts Platform to Legal Department teams, including training to new employees and those new to a role

    • Continuously review working practices and stop all outdated/ ineffective processes and ways of working.


  • Lead development of further Contract Lifecycle stages  and contract templates



    • Lead the change control and governance process for amendments to the Contracts Platform, whether technical, content or process-related


 

Qualifications

 
Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5-10 years’ experience in the Contract Management arena; accredited IACCM (“International Association for Contract & Commercial Management) preferred

  • 5-10 years’ Project Management experience; accredited Prince2, IPMA or similar preferred

  • Proficient understanding of legal management systems (contract lifecycle management, matter management, e-billing and others)

  • Experience in a multinational corporate environment;  experience in the agribusiness, biotech or life sciences industry preferred

  • Qualifications/experience in change management preferred

  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence


Qualifications and skills:



  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree in business administration or related field

  • Fluent written and spoken English

  • Proven problem solving skills; strategic and analytical thinking
