To support our Legal & Integrity Division, FIFA is looking to recruit an autonomous and flexible
Head of Players’ Status
Your duties


  • Leading the Players’ Status department

  • Managing the operational activities and legal procedures

  • Guiding legal investigations of demanding legal cases

  • Advising the team in complex questions related to the interpretation of the legal regulations

  • Mediating between parties to pending disputes in specific affairs

  • Supervising investigations of sensitive files concerning changes of association and eligibility of players for representative teams

  • Providing guidance and supervising proceedings pending at the Court of Arbitration for Sport

Our requirements


  • Master Degree in Sports Law

  • At least five years of experience within players’ status matters

  • Profound knowledge of the regulations governing the international transfer of players and related areas

  • Good knowledge of at least three official FIFA languages (English, German, French or Spanish)

  • Strong sense for responsibility

  • Endurance and ability to work with tight deadlines

  • Competent in leading and motivating a diverse team

  • Good communication skills orally and in writing

  • Service-oriented and high level of accountability
