Lab Technician m/f  /  Labortechniker m/w

Complete complex technical laboratory activities in coordination with relevant partners to maximize customer satisfaction and to support the implementation of customer related technology applications, solutions and services. When required provide onsite technical service and support.


 


                

 


Tasks and responsibilities














- Ensure that appropriate technical support is given for the area of responsibility to provide optimized solutions to maximize (internal & external) customer satisfaction respecting objectives in term of quality, cost & lead-time

- Ensure that technical information, documentation and communication is given and maintained at BU technical organization in line with BU technical guidelines

- Ensure traceability of the work (study report, record data, retained sample)

- Realisation of an action plan, validated with supervisor to answer to a technical problematic, & implementation of corresponding solutions

- Efficient planning and use of available resources to achieve defined targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Compliance with HSE rules and quality standards as well as chemical industry standards within the area of responsibility

-Continuous enhancement of professional expertise to provide customers and the BU with maximal technical competence

- Carry out laboratory work/study (product characterisation, product customisation to customer needs, color matching, complain & claim management)

- Develop characterization or evaluation tests (eg to simulate customer conditions)

 

 




Qualifications



  • Diploma from technical school or other relevant scientific subject

  • 3-5 years experience in packaging or printing or chemical industry

  • Use of laboratory equipment

  • International experience appreciated

  • Fluent in English and German
