Service Engineer (f/m)

Duties


  • Global service and commissioning of packaging equipment and other machines from the Digital Sense portfolio as required

  • Check of mechanical and electrical installation

  • Generation of performance and accuracy certifications

  • Preparation of reports and other documentation recording customer settings and tasks performed

  • Training of customer and Bühler personnel for operation and maintenance

  • Support for single machine sales, plant components, third-party machines and consumables

  • Work in collaboration with global SAS, DT/DS and other customer service teams

  • Ensure quality through the use of appropriate group and international standards and tools (e.g. CAQ, CRM, reporting templates)

  • Gather market knowledge including customer feedback, business opportunities and competitor activity
Qualifications


  • Apprenticeship or Diploma in a technical subject, electronic apprenticeship is an advantage

  • Minimum 3 years industrial customer service field experience

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical systems

  • Understanding of site safety requirements

  • A high standard of spoken and written English essential, further languages an advantage

  • Able to prepare documentation and reports to a professional standard using MS Office applications

  • High readiness for global travel (>75%)

  • Strong customer and service focus
