LCM Engineer (m/f)

Duties


  • Responsible for multiple Life Cycle projects

  • Defines product enhancements for the Digital Sense portfolio (e.g. packing, weighing, dosing)

  • Ensures machine and process improvement according manufacturing and installation feedback and customer complaints

  • Leads smaller development projects and sub-projects

  • Leads manufacturing transfer projects to worldwide production sites

  • Design of components and assemblies using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor)

  • Close collaboration with other R&D teams, technologists, commissioning engineers and product management

  • Qualitative product data management of the existing portfolio

  • Work effectively within multi-functional, multi-location project teams

Qualifications


  • Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering or related subject)

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in life cycle management

  • Product development to international standards

  • Excellent mechanical engineering and manufacturing knowledge

  • Experienced user of 3D engineering tools (e.g. Autodesk Inventor)

  • Knowledge of relevant national and international standards (e.g. ATEX, CE, UL)

  • Fluent German and a high standard of spoken and written English essential

  • Willing and able to work with global cultures

  • Willingness to travel (up to 15%)
