(Senior) Pricing Actuary Non-Life

The position is embedded in the Pricing & Analytics Europe, MEAR, APAC team, which is part of the Group Underwriting Office.

 

You will be based in the Zurich office, which has responsibilities for pricing Aviation, Engineering, Marine, Casualty and Motor as well as Property & Casualty business in many countries.

 

You will be involved in designing, building and maintaining advanced actuarial technical models and diagnostics helping the pricing communittee in assessing individual treaties as well as market segments.

 

You will equally be involved in pricing reinsurance business, providing transparent technical insight into the business, advising on deal structures.

 

A key success factor in this role is regular exchange with Underwriters and other business partners, such as Risk Management, Reserving and Senior Management.

About you

You have gained 3 to 5 years of work experience in non-life reinsurance pricing.

 

You also have interest and experience in programming (for example in C#, R, SQL) and/or designing and implementing user-friendly actuarial pricing tools for various end-users.

 

In addition, you possess a university degree in a quantitative discipline (mathematics, physics, engineering or similar), and ideally have an actuarial qualification or pursue towards one, which we will support.

 

To be a successful business partner you enjoy communicating and working together with different internal and external clients in proficient English.
