The goal is to offer and advise clients regarding investments in funds, both internal and external funds, or in discretionary mandates. This applies across markets, asset classes and both traditional and alternative strategies. The candidate should be passionate about financial markets and is looking to be pro-active on idea generation and discussions with Client Relationship Managers (CRM), clients and advisors.Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with our client relationship managers (CRM), external asset managers (EXAM) and direct access client advisors (DAC)
Advise, promote and distribute funds and discretionary mandates through a creative advisory approach
Identify trading/investment opportunities through research (macro research, fund managers etc…)
Direct interaction with various stakeholders at the bank including Investment Communication, Fund Research, Asset Management etc…
Willingness and ability to respond to requests in a timely and efficient manner
Monitor and evaluate various products and client portfolios invested primarily in funds and discretionary mandates
Prepare investment proposals for specific investments or diversified portfolios using funds and discretionary mandates
Production and promotion of marketing materials for Client Relationship Managers and clients
Visit and discuss on a regular basis with CRMs, EXAMs and DAC advisors based in various locations
Support CRMs in client meetings by offering Bank J. Safra Sarasin funds and discretionary mandates
Profiles
Master degree of a University, CFA an advantage
At least 5 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in an investment advisory role focusing on funds
Strong financial background – candidates with knowledge of funds universe will be favoured
Strong interpersonal skills, highly self-motivated, independent and stress resistant personality
Excellent educational background
Self starter, strong intellectual capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German; conversant in French or Italian is a plus
