Objective

Bobst Group is a manufacturer of converting equipment for the printing and packaging industry. 

The objective of the Pricing Team is to manage the Business Unit Services pricing for Spare Parts, Upgrades, Consumables, Service Products and Field Technician tariff worldwide.

This Pricing Team is composed with several members located in different countries around the world.

A Pricing Transformation Roadmap has been defined and is being implemented in order to optimize the total revenue and margin for Bobst as well as Bobst customers’ satisfaction.

To strengthen our Pricing Team for our Business Unit Services, we offer you the opportunity to join us as :

Pricing Expert

Responsibility

Reporting to the Head of Pricing, the Pricing Expert will work together with the other members of the Pricing Team and also other divisions in the Bobst organization (marketing, sales, controlling, technical services, etc…) to optimize the pricing positioning of the products and services sold by the Business Unit Services and implement different projects of the Pricing Roadmap. 

YOUR MISSION :

• Analyze our pricing, sales and margin position for various products and recommend pricing evolutions and other marketing mix strategies to generate increased revenue, profits and customer satisfaction


• Perform competitive market analysis by product to assist in establishing proper pricing levels


• Interface with sales people to understand market feedbacks, and help explaining the pricing strategies developed


• Develop pricing tools and maintain price settings in the existing tools (SAP, …)


• Pilot projects inside the Pricing Transformation Roadmap to professionalize Bobst BU Services pricing, by establishing timelines, defining deliverables, and drafting communications or presentations. The projects can consist in new pricing methodologies, pricing tools, internal processes, new product pricing strategy, etc…


• Monitor the results of the actions implemented through Business Intelligence reports

Requirements

YOUR PROFILE :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, marketing, or related analytical discipline preferred


• At least 5 years successful experience in a Pricing position


• SAP ECC and/or BI Tools (Tableau) knowledge and work experience would be a plus


• MS Office – Advanced Excel 


• Fluent English / French – German would be a plus

To succeed in this position, you need to show strong Customer focus, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

We are also looking for a good Team player and strong Communicator with good interpersonal skills.
