About the role…


Based in Geneva and reporting to the Head of Private Clients practice, we are looking for a Law Specialist to provide a high quality administrative service to a complex portfolio of client structures with timeliness and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provision of an efficient and quality service, liaising with clients, agencies, professional advisers and intermediaries as required in accordance with legislation

  • Implement policies and procedures as set down in the Company Procedures Manuals, including implementation of Viewpoint

  • Develop a good understanding of the TMF Group and its products and services

  • Meet productivity target and input timesheet daily

  • Control of debtors to the level determined by the Director, Private Clients, including fee collection for the team

  • Opening and closing of bank and investment accounts, as well as ongoing review

  • Complete all Closings assigned by Director, Senior Trust Officer

  • Preparing correspondence with intermediaries (i.e. emails, faxes and letters) for clients, advisors and third parties

  • Liaising with Client Accounting in the maintenance of General Ledgers and production of Financial Statements

  • Maintain data system and modules to a complete level at all times

  • Developing client and intermediary relations, including seeking opportunities

  • Co-ordinating client services with colleagues (from other departments and offices)


About you…



  • Law graduates, in either common law or civil law jurisdiction

  • Successful completion of professional qualifications, e.g. STEP

  • 10 years of work experience in similar position, in fiduciary industry or finance industry

  • Fluent English - both written and verbal - any other European language(s) a plus

  • Client-oriented

  • Good communication skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, flexible, and able to adjust to changing work demands

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Ideally a legal background
