Within our team in Zurich we are looking for a Investment Content Writer 100%.
Your challenge:
You will be responsible for creating excellent investment content (writing commentary, investment messages, white papers, opinion pieces, thought leadership pieces and content for sales brochures), together with internal stakeholders including portfolio managers, regional sales teams, PR and group marketing. Your main ownership will be to provide investment content for our systematic and quantitative investment strategies. As such, you will:
Develop and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
Define and work based on a content strategy plan that is aligned with the key goals of the boutiques
Create investment content that builds a bridge between our investment professionals and our readers, in particular write white papers together with senior investment professionals
Produce content that contains information which surprises and delights the reader
Ensure that your investment knowledge is current by attending relevant internal investment-team meetings and keeping up to speed with industry news
Adhere to agreed writing style and compliance standards
Your qualification:
Bilingual with written English and German at mother tongue level. Other language skills would be a bonus
Passionate reader and writer
Strong affinity for financial markets and good investment knowledge, in particular regarding quantitative investing
Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize
Proven ability to work in a team
A creative yet practical mind
Hunting attitude with hunger for relevance of written pieces
Continuously look for improvements in how you and the team around you works. Able to challenge ideas and concepts appropriately, but also adhere to agreed processes
Excellent academic credentials with a bachelor´s degree in finance, business administration, economics or journalism
Preference for higher-level academic qualifications or other proven experience demonstrating the ability to structure and write new insights
