SYNOPSIS

As a Content Developer in the EF EdTech Academic & Content Team, you will be responsible for writing,

editing and production of online and offline learning materials as part of our hybrid learning experience for

adults. Materials will be used across all EF markets and you will be involved in developing support materials

for implementation.

THE ROLE

The Content Developer plays a key role in the development of innovative products that provide students with

an industry-leading experience. You are a member of a user experience oriented team of academic experts

guided by the principles of looking for optimal solutions, standard setting, collaboration and creativity. The team

works with end users, supports product initiatives and their implementation across various markets.

You will:

• evaluate, edit and maintain existing content (for online and offline delivery)

• write learning materials and other content in addition to teacher support materials

• create product communication and training materials

• work with the Content Editor on the development of these materials

• contribute to the development and testing of content for specific markets and learners

• deliver projects on-time and according to business requirements

• build and maintain relationships with teachers, in-center education managers and other center staff.

• maintain teaching skills and industry knowledge

• maintain the database of topics on OBOE and supporting the scheduling of these topics in various

markets.

• deliver and support learning materials to relevant markets.

REQUIRED

• CELTA / CertTESOL + 3 years’ teaching experience

• Trinity Dip. or DELTA / MA TESOL or Applied Linguistics preferred

• some experience in EFL/ELT online/offline materials development preferred

YOU HAVE/ARE

• a high level of accuracy in written English (CEFR C2)
