The role –  Associate Tour Experience Manager – ET Brochure Tours


EF Educational Tours is currently looking for ambitious, driven and enthusiastic candidate, to join a data driven Operations department focused on optimization and continuous improvement of our product. You will be working within the team responsible for the  European production, and on-tour experience of our Brochure tours, working closely with colleagues across the Operations department in Lucerne (the office and role will move to Zurich in January 2019), Switzerland and with our Sales and Product Innovation departments situated in North America. Main Areas of Responsibility



  • Develop / maintain an allocation strategy for each experience which meets cost, quality, and capacity limitation

  • Monitor projected cost per tour and ensure it is produced within budgets

  • Ensure flow of all components and communicate group specific information to suppliers and Tour Directors

  • Conduct pre-departure calls with Tour Directors and make final “tweaks” to itinerary to ensure great tour flow.

  • Proactively monitor on-tour experience via received feedback and support groups on the road

  • Handle production related customer requests together with colleagues across the department

  • Collaborate  proactively with our Product Innovation team in Boston to develop itineraries, and educational content

  • Perform constant analysis to identify itinerary improvements and innovative opportunities for the business

Skills and Experience



  • Previous relevant experience in the Tourism and/or Educational field

  • Analytical Skills: Data Analysis / Critical Thinking / Data Analysis

  • Decisiveness and proven Smart Business Judgement: Problem Solving  

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office

  • Proven track record of providing excellent customer experience

  • Ability to communicate and build networks effectively

  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a diligent and dynamic structure

  • Language: English and French proficiency required, additional languages would be a plus.
