Business Development Manager DACH/France (100%)


Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales and business development activities within the region (Switzerland, Germany, Austria and France). This includes the execution of the sales strategy by targeting primarily pharmaceutical and biotech customers and ensuring the achievement of revenue and business goals. Main responsibilities



  • Proactive territory and strategic account management

  • Responsible for territory growth, revenue targets, acquisition of new accounts and opportunities

  • Working closely and cooperatively with team members in Europe and the United States

  • Support InSphero in implementing market strategies, introduction of new products and technologies

  • Develop key account management and customer-focused business strategies by securely navigating through various organizational levels

  • Form strategic alliances such as early access programs and drive development of new large-scale business opportunities

  • Advanced usage of key accounting tools (e.g. Miller-Heimann & CRM database)

  • Recognize market trends and gain competitive intelligence

 

Profile



  • Biology-related degree (MSc or PhD) with good understanding of cell biology/molecular biology

  • Customer focused personality with 3+ years field sales/key account experience

  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent networker across all levels of customer organization

  • Independent, proactive and well-organized personality

  • Ideal location: Zürich

  • Languages: English and German, French is a plus
