Position description

The SWISS Engineering Department is responsible for administration and control of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM). Within this department you give support to Operational Engineering, Flight Safety and Aircraft System Engineering with accurate flight data. Furthermore, the department is in charge of developing and monitoring the Aircraft Data Acquisition System (ADAS).

Your Duties

• Analyse aircraft recorded data with the SWISS-used tool EMS (Event Measurement System)


• Visualize trend analysis and possible aircraft system malfunctions


• Determinate and localize Systems to be analyzed in corporation with aircraft systems engineering


• Decribe methods to detect trends of defined exceeding values


• Evaluate possible tools outside of the current used tool EMS


• Develop EMS application to analyze systems which are defined by aircraft systems engineering

Requirements

• Finished Bachelor degree in Engineering, Mathematics or IT


• Aviation knowledge is an asset (e.g. Pilot)


• Fluent German and English language skills (written and oral)


• Good knowledge of MS Office applications and programming


• Stress resistant, able to work under high pressure


• Strong analytical skills


• Objective oriented person
