Our Zurich43 partners – Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG), the Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), and ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) – are currently seeking applicants for the joint post as:


 


Electrical Engineer / RF Test Engineer


 


Due to growing international demand, the Zurich43 alliance would like to expand operations and are looking for a motivated and experienced test engineer to strengthen their multi-disciplinary team. Our laboratories at Zurich43 are considered one of the leading competence centers in near-field characterization of wireless devices and medical implants.


Your challenges:



  • Calibrating, testing, and assessing the safety and performance of medical implants and radio-frequency (RF) systems (such as sensors, antennas, etc.)

  • Conducting RF measurements and data analysis

  • Maintaining the in-house International Organization for Standardization (ISO) quality assurance system

  • Supporting our technical and customer service teams


Your strengths:



  • Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent level; preference is given to candidates with:

    - experience with good laboratory practice (GLP) and RF measurement equipment and setups

    - knowledge of metrology and quality assurance standards

    - understanding of statistics, error analysis, and uncertainty conventions

  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to recognize and promote top quality workmanship

  • Self-motivation, good organizational skills, ability to work independently while being part of a team

  • Good verbal and written English skills, knowledge of German a plus
