Tasks



  • Managing relationships with the Originators and other key stakeholders across the Deal-Life-Cycle to ensure efficient deal validation and operational setup

  • Close cooperation with the Front Deal entry team ensuring correctness of deal entry in the ENDUR Risk Management system against contracts for complex structured contracts.

  • Designing and implementing concepts and procedures to establish an efficient deal validation & deal setup along the Deal-Life-Cycle, i.e. including suggestions to streamline the process, reduce inefficiency and suggest automation through tools

  • Ensuring successful setting up of logistics, optimization, invoicing and regulatory reporting with centralized MidOffice Onboarding team. (incl. support of reporting)

  • Record keeping (e.g. archive documents, approvals etc.)

  • Provide desk assistance to the Front Office Deal entry team to enter non-standard deals in the ENDUR Risk Management system, work together with Originators, Quants and Risk in order to replicate new or complex pay-offs

  • Assist the central MidOffice to identify enhancements, specify requirements, modularize deals and evolve the existing Deal Onboarding tool to incorporate more non-standardize deals into the standardize Deal-Life-Cycle landscape

  • Support the Origination and MidOffice in any matter to drive the business and getting


Profile



  • University degree (ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Physics, or Mathematics)

  • Excellent understanding of Origination business, Energy Trading and deal structures

  • Having worked in Middle Office of another international Commodity Trader or a bank is a strong plus

  • Outstanding analytical skills and process focus. Additional education like CFA, FRM, ERP is a strong plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, great team player

  • Structured and independent way of working

  • Fluency in English and at least another language is a must

This is a great opportunity to join the Middle Office Trading & Sales. The main objective of this role is to be the link of the decentral Origination hubs and the central MidOffice in all matters, work closely with Originators to help them to book complex structured Origination contracts in the Risk Management system and elaborate further supportive documents for Originators and MidOffice. This role needs a self-driven personality with persistence, analytical skills and Client focus.
