As part of our clearly structured growth strategy, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated employee for the role of a Senior IT Technician.

As a team member of the global IT Operations and Support team you will contribute to the success of elipsLife and it will offer you a variety of challenging tasks in a well-established and constantly growing international insurance company.

Your tasks

The Senior IT Technician is a specialist for IT Infrastructure and is providing 1st and 2nd level support to our internal customers. The role covers some deeper technical areas of expertise and is therefore tailor-made for IT fascinated people with a broad and deep range of interests:

• VM Ware and Hyper V Operations with SCCVM


• Monitoring development and maintenance with SCOM


• Storage Management


• Server Operations and provisioning


• Exchange, DNS, DHCP, Domain Controller


• SQL Server infrastructure

In this role together with the IT operations team, you will be collaborating closely with your colleagues in an international environment in order to ensure an first class IT infrastructure and a solid fundament for a Global Service Desk. You will report to the Head IT Infrastructure and Operations in Zurich.

Your profile

One thing is very clear: at elipsLife we are looking for a new colleague who will work with us every day with passion to meet expectations. The successful candidate has an HBO/Bachelor degree in informatics or equivalent certification in information Technology.

Furthermore, the following elements will contribute to the successful execution of this role:

• 5 years of experience in IT Service Desk


• At least 10 year of experience in IT infrastructure Operations with special technical expertise in Virtualization (VM ware, Hyper V), Citrix,    Server operations with System Center, Citrix Desktop and SQL Servicer Infrastructure management;


• Ability to priorities and to keep the overview;


• Independent and self-driven type of personality;


• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German is needed.
