What it's about


You will work alongside Partners Group's investment professionals in the transaction closing process across Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure investments. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a seamless deal closing process. You will maintain the overall view of what is required to bring a deal to closing, and you will drive and coordinate various related work streams with both internal and external parties.


 


Responsibilities



  • Work alongside the investment teams in Zug, London, Munich, Paris & Milan in the investment closing process;

  • Coordinate the equity funding process including the handling of funds flows and capital calls;

  • Liaise with internal and external counsels on various closing-related topics such as the set up/implementation of acquisition structures, execution of transaction documentation and other deal-specific requirements; 

  • Create and drive the deal closing steps plan and ensure fulfilment of conditions precedent;

  • Coordinate with internal teams various processes related to the internal set up and execution of the deal;

  • Support the Closer team with ad-hoc deal needs as well as general team housekeeping activi-ties (e.g. preparation of reports, deal tracking, etc.);

  • Support the Closer team in the definition and implementation of improvement related initia-tives.


What we expect



  • Top academic credentials in business administration, economics, finance and/or law;

  • 1-3 years of work experience in private markets/financial services or consulting;

  • Previous transactional/project management experience at private equity firm, law firm, advisory firm or similar is valued;

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills;

  • Entrepreneurial, driven and proactive mindset;

  • Strong desire to learn and succeed;

  • Proficiency in English;

  • Clear career vision: understanding of the firm’s business and industry.
