Degree (MSc, PhD) in material sciences, microsystems technology, physics or another engineering science
Understanding of production and industrialization processes as well as a hands-on mentality
Excellent German and good English skills
Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities at Sensirion are extremely varied and exciting. You develop the latest generation of sensor technology in interdisciplinary project teams. Your future colleague, Carlos (Senior Process Engineer), de-scribes his day-to-day work below.
What are the specific tasks?
I develop new process solutions for the different packaging areas (dicing, molding, wire and die bonding, etc.) and take existing processes to the next level. I also train production employees and ensure successful knowledge transfer. I am called in to help find solutions to production problems.
What are the daily challenges?
Every day is different. In the morning, you never know what exciting things are coming that day. The daily work is known, but the priorities can change quickly. You continually have to respond to current problems and quickly find solutions in order to minimize the impact on production as much as possible.
