In order to reinforce our operation’s team in Bern we are seeking an

IPX Signalling Engineer – (m/f) 100%
to join us immediately or by agreement

Your main tasks
In this senior engineering position, you will be responsible for the following areas:

• Operate, maintain and develop the IPX signalling services and roaming hub systems of Comfone


• Implement and operate MNOs signalling access links to Comfone IPX, incl. planning, routing,
  documentation, testing and technical support to Comfone customers and peers


• Proactive monitoring and capacity management of the network to provide five nine service
  availability


• Service troubleshooting worldwide and resolution of technical incidents


• 2nd level on-call duty service to internal and external parties

Your ideal profile

• University degree in telecommunications or equivalent


• Experience in operating Diameter (DRA), SIGTRAN (STP), or SIP signalling protocols


• Knowledge of the LTE/GSM mobile network and roaming industry is a plus


• Dynamic, communicative and reliable personality


• Good knowledge of the English language (written and oral). Extra languages a plus


• You are willing to work in Bern, Switzerland


• The position is open to Swiss and EU nationals, and to holder of a valid Swiss work permit
