The RBS Private Banking entities offer high net worth clients acomprehensive range of private banking, wealth planning and investment management services through the Coutts and Adam & Co brands as well as to designated NatWest and RBS clients in the UK and internationally. To anticipate and respond to changing client demand, there is a growing emphasis on delivering a full range of innovative digital services.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a young and dynamic developer that helps us enhancing and automating processes in the core application Avaloq with respect to transaction solutions (STEX and settlement). Besides incident handling the developer will have the opportunity to work on the latest Avaloq topics such as AFP, API ecosystem in case of previous experience. Since it is a field of growth our team will expand in this area over the next few years.

Key Accountabilities:

• Business & Technical end user consulting


• Enable close collaboration with Developers, Stakeholders, Subject Matter Experts and 3rd party suppliers


• 3rd Level Support with incidents, on-call support


• Interface and 3rd party application maintenance

Skills:

• Programming, parameterisation skills and technical know-how of Avaloq


• Solid knowledge in PL/SQL


• Knowledge/experience with AFP, Restful APIs, AMI beneficial


• Structured mind-set, self-starter, innovative


• University degree (or equivalent) in computer science or engineering


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


• Strong English, German beneficial

Required Experience:

• 3+ years hands-on Avaloq experience, e.g. as consultant


• 1+ years with transactional Meta-Types


• Software development and project management lifecycles (agile preferable)


• Working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers


• Investments and/or Banking education beneficial
