The RBS Private Banking entities offer high net worth clients a comprehensive range of private banking, wealth planning and investment management services through the Coutts and Adam & Co brands as well as to designated NatWest and RBS clients in the UK and internationally. To anticipate and respond to changing client demand, there is a growing emphasis on delivering a full range of innovative digital services.


Role Purpose:


We are looking for an experienced onboarding technical specialist to strengthen our team in Banking and Lending, Private Banking Services. Candidates are expected to provide strong technical skills in requirements gathering, software development and solution design. Candidates require work experience with case management tools and the Avaloq Banking Suite. Focus will be on topics around client lifecycle journeys, primarily onboarding


Key Accountabilities:



  • Case management skills to create and edit process workflows and rules.

  • Design skills to map out end-to-end  customer journeys.

  • Avaloq parameterisation, development of software changes.

  • Business analysis for change requests and incidents.

  • Close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose end-to-end functionality.

  • Incident management, 3rd level support.

  • Technical testing activities during release cycles.

  • Candidate will take a shared responsibility for successful implementation of Onboarding Transformation Projects.


Skills:



  • Software development and parameterisation skills with Case Management tools.

  • Software development and parameterisation skills with Avaloq.

  • Solid understanding of Oracle databases and PL/SQL.

  • Requirements engineering and solution design.

  • Analytical, structured and efficient way of working.

  • Ability to deliver complex solutions independently.

  • Very good command of English and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with Avaloq Cost & Fees modules would be beneficial.


Required Experience:



  • University degree or equivalent in engineering, preferably in computer science.

  • General software programming experience.

  • Avaloq parameterisation and development of customised functionality, preferably with Onboarding and Client Lifecycle Management.

  • Foundation knowledge of UK Banking and Regulations.

  • A solid technical understanding of end to end workflow processes.
