As part of our clearly structured growth strategy, our office in Zurich is looking for a dynamic and motivated employee for the role ofDemand ManagerCorporate Functions (80-100%).


This position is key to group and offers a variety of challenging tasks in a well-established and constantly growing international insurance company.


 


Your tasks


In this role, you are responsible to ensure the development of the business process cluster and the functionality of its IT applications based on the strategic guidelines, business goals, the architectural framework and the IT demands, which are requested from the“Corporate Functions”Departments (e.g. Legal & Compliance, Human Resources & Marketing & Communication) within the company.



Your responsibilities include the following tasks:



  • Creation and maintenance of a IT development plan for the business process cluster.

  • Evaluation and assessment of the IT related demands.

  • Creation of business concepts including high-level business requirements.

  • Coordination of the implementation of the IT change requests.

  • Documentation of the processes within the yearly review process.

  • Organization of processes improvement sessions.

  • Leading of projects or activates within the area of ‘Corporate Functions’.


 


In addition to the above, the Demand Manager acts as a single point of contact regarding the IT demands for one of our market units.


 


You will report to the Head of Demand Management and work among others in close collaboration with business experts, other demand managers, business analysts/engineers and IT architects.


 


Your profile


We are looking for a highly dedicated person with an entrepreneurial mind-set and strong analytical and conceptual skills. The successful candidate has a university degree education in business administration, business engineering/project management and/or higher education in insurance business. You have experience in the area of IT demand management as well as in the area of business requirement engineering and developing business concepts. You provide a proven track record in a corporate function department preferably in life insurance business, where you gained 2–3 years of working experience. You communicate fluently in German and English. Occasional travel is required.
