Your role:

take on the ownership of two applications in the product configuration area and help to advance them to the next level
drive the evolution of the underlying rule-based framework that steers and supports key processes on our platform, such as the portfolio construction and implementation or the health check execution
plan and prioritize the release content for your applications in line with the platform roadmap
interact directly with IT analysts and developers in an agile software development environment
support strategic and regulatory initiatives with business and process analysis and your expertise in the field of Investment Products
prepare and execute test cases, verify software releases and educate end users
manage business stakeholders, incorporate end user input and transparently communicate our platform strategy
assist the daily business with your financial and system expertise and support investigations in case of inconsistencies or errors

You’ll be working in the team IPS Platform Development & Management within UBS WM Investment Platforms and Solutions (IPS) which is responsible for the platforms and processes underpinning the value proposition of our discretionary and advisory mandate solutions. As a business solution owner of the investment platforms, we take care of the continuous evolution of our capabilities to the benefits of our clients globally. The product configuration team within IPS Platform Development & Management is a core and integral component of our platform change activities as offering configuration updates have an immediate impact on how client portfolios are invested.
Your expertise:
You have:
multiple years of work experience as project/process manager, business analyst, innovation manager, product owner or scrum master preferably in the financial sector
strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and conflicting priorities
solid data analysis skills and query language knowledge (e.g. SQL, Python, R), development experience in a high-level programming language (C#, Java, VB) is a plus
a university degree or equivalent (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Informatics, Mathematics), any other certification (e.g. CFA, AZEK, CIIA, FRM, IPMA, CBAP) is a plus
You are:
a highly motivated and self-directed top performer with a proven track record in a similar position
a curious mind that constantly comes up with new concepts and implementable solutions (you never run out of ideas)
known for hitting deadlines and willing to go the extra mile
excited about complex rule-based systems and the way they work
fluent in English, German is a plus
