Senior Manager, Global Mobility Europe


 


Purpose of the role:

The Senior Global Mobility Manager is responsible for implementing the Mondelez Global Mobility program in AMEA, incorporating our global program with best regional market practices and legal requirements to support the organization. You will lead the Global Mobility Center of Excellence (COE) for EU and will partner with corporate and functional HR and business leaders to implement, maintain and drive consistency, fairness and internal equity through standard processes and procedures of the Mondelez Global Mobility program. 

This role will appeal to you if you are a seasonal global mobility professional with 10+ years’ experience, you have both a “builder” and “roll up up your sleeves” approach on all aspects of global mobility, including tax, payroll, equity, immigration, relocation, all types of international assignments, including permanent, temporary and commuting etc. You have a strong track record of supporting and coaching your global mobility team members, locally and virtually. You have strong communication skills which enables you to effectively collaborate across all levels in the organization, with an awareness of cultural sensitivities. You will have a passion for the employee experience, you have knowledge of international compensation, social security and tax as well as immigration challenges. You have a passion for continuous learning, going above and beyond to stay on top of mobility trends and regulations and you thrive in an every changing environment in a global matrix organization. 

 


Main responsibilities:



  • Manages, coaches and develops direct reports to ensure the right levels of capability and performance are in place to meet the business requirements. Develop the skills and knowledge of the team on the business and how to align our mobility packages with the business dynamics to execute the set strategies. Maintain and develop the capabilities of the team, ensuring process optimization and effective use of resources.

  • Review complex scenarios for the planning of cross-border moves and support our stakeholders in complex mobility questions. Assess current mobility programs, practices and policies alongside the business needs; as well as tax, social and legislative changes with the goal of delivering high level services to our stakeholders. Establish a continuous performance and quality improvement plan to ensure a robust monitoring of all issues touching the Mobile population in EU. 

  • Participate in the development and implementation of Mondelez global mobility strategy and program; define EU specific requirements with regards to Global mobility in alignment with Mondelez Mobile Talent Strategy and EU legal framework.

  • Understand and facilitate the implementation of Mondelez compensation policies and guidelines and provide meaningful analysis to management for use in making decisions related to Mondelez mobile talent. Have an operational understanding of key benefits such as incentive plan, equity program, pension participation and severance plan.

  • Manage the strategic business partnerships, program support and relationship with all external vendors and third parties to deliver quality benefits and services while controlling costs. Analyze services provided and recommend changes to approach where necessary. Participate in the RFP process for new vendors when necessary.

  • Participate in compensation-related projects which involve revision, development and or redesign of existing compensation programs. This would include high level participation, partnering with appropriate internal teams, providing relevant input on topics linked to mobility.

  • Design and conduct training sessions with a wide range of stakeholders (HR Leads, Business Leads, Talent Acquisition, Payroll) to educate on Global Mobility basics, programs, strategy, and other related topics

  • Have an understanding of the Company’s inter-company recharges workflow to ensure proper and timely cost recharges across EU and between regions.

  • Know the ethical and legal compliance requirements of our mobile talent; leads ethically and legally compliant behavior and approaches.

  • Represent Mondelez International in international forums with other global mobility leaders and HR professionals to ensure that our mobility program is competitive and relevant.


Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Language Requirements:



  • University degree in business administration  or equivalent

  • Minimum  10  years’ experience in global mobility, preferably gathered in FMCG industry

  • 7 years of experience in leading global mobility teams on international level, with a  few years  on European remit

  • Experience in international assignments management, relocation, compensation & benefits, vendor management, payroll co-sourcing and equity programs

  • Knowledge of tax, social security and immigration principles and regulations in Europe

  • Experience in aligning immigration process in Europe

  • Experience  in implementing and leading new global mobility operating model

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Fluent  English; French or German is a plus
