As the Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives you will work closely with the VP of Manufacturing for the DACH region, his Leadership Team and plants on cross-site leveraging, best practice sharing and effective planning and deployment of corporate, MD&D and Global Orthopedics initiatives cross all DePuy Synthes manufacturing sites in DACH to ensure they meet our manufacturing vision 2020.

Planning of manufacturing goals and strategies to be deployed
Ensure major cross-functional issues and conflicts are addressed and resolved
Review and align regional projects and priorities to ensure consistency in execution our manufacturing vison 2020
Accelerate implementation/execution of strategic initiatives across DePuySynthes EMEA SC
Develop and establish together with VP Manufacturing DACH the manufacturing strategy for Switzerland, Germany and Austria
Lead the manufacturing strategy program deployment, establish the roadmap of projects and initiatives required to achieve manufacturing vision 2020
Liaise and align with corporate teams and functional owners to ensure our integrated approach
Lead local change programs on manufacturing strategy and process portfolio optimization, liaise with J&J / MD&D / GO programs and PMO functions.
“Chief of Staff” for regional manufacturing management team; establish the agenda and run the meeting to ensure high performance results
Own and manage the leadership team meetings agenda
Key point of contact for all speakers and presentation materials
Ensure LT meets are conducted efficiently and in a timely manner and adhere to agreed meeting norms
Point of Contact for Vp Operations on meeting topics and action points
Facilitate leadership team decision making
Facilitate development and tracking of Top 10 key business priorities and scorecard
Represent the Manufacturing function in various cross-functional councils and projects to ensure alignment and collaboration in end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Link with and contribute to corporate strategic supply chain initiatives in order to enable regional representation, leverage local insights to allow effective alignment and implementation of corporate recommendations
Qualifications
Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
8-10 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or Strategy Consulting
Strong knowledge on state of the art Supply Chain / Manufacturing concepts and practices
Strong Conceptual Thinker
Strong Analytical Skills / Strong Capabilities to synthesize and holistic thinking
Very strong communication skills, oral and in writing
A demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional Management; strong interpersonal skills
Extensive experience in leading program management initiatives / strategic projects
Should have a proven track record of executing strategies in highly complex matrix environments
