We are looking for a talented and curious “Data Science Engineer” to join our rapidly growing
workforce.
Quantum Analytics AG is a data science and analytics company, located at Technopark in Zurich.
We help clients identify their most valuable customers, products, or services; determine potential
risks; discover hidden potential in their markets; pinpoint and eliminate bottlenecks and
inefficiencies; and provide other insights to steer their business. We do this by using scientific
methods of data analysis, data management, reporting and modern visualisation to turn data into
information.
Your Responsibilities - Your will be working on customer assignments, for building, maintaining
and extending state-of-the-art data management solutions for data science and analytics projects.
You will be involved in the complete process of understanding customer needs, designing and
implementing the right data management solution in close collaboration with both your Quantum
colleagues and the customer, and making sure that the outcome brings a clear business benefit.
You will also be involved in keeping Quantum up to date on the latest trends and technologies.
Your profile - You have a master's or bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or
natural sciences with an emphasis on informatics.
You have robust experience with designing and building analytical databases / data warehouses
and are confident in handling data management and analysis tasks using SQL, including tuning
and performance optimization.
You master at least one procedural programming language such as Java, Python or C/C++.
You are able to understand the needs of business users and design and implement solutions to
fulfil them.
You are fluent in English and German; have a valid Swiss work permit or are a citizen of the EU.
