Still a family run business based in Basel, TALLY WEiJL has developed in to a multichannel provider supplying more than 900 stores in 37 countries.

Deine Aufgaben

 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Merchandise Planning team in our Campus in Basel!

• construction together with the Buying service of the assortment plan done by product  family


• definition of weekly takings and markdowns & discounts


• calculate quantities for new products and repeat orders of existing products


• control the open-to-buy of each product family all along each step of the buying process


• optimizing the sell-through at the end of the season by proposing the best markdown date and level


• provide various analysis (like best and worst-sellers) on each product family


• support Head of Buying with pricing and margin strategy

Dein Profil

• bachelor degree on Economics or Business Administration


• experience of 3-4 years in Merchandise Planning


• jobs ability to work productively in a team environment


• excellent analytical skills


• high Excel knowledge is essential, a basic knowledge of SAP would be an asset


• fluent English, every other language is an asset


• Strong analytical skills and ability to apply knowledge of business strategy to achieve successful outcomes 


• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines


• Flexible, proactive, Team player


• Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
