Head of International Visual Merchandising

MAIN MISSIONS



  • Be a key contributor to International Retail business results & growth via the creation and support of an efficient visual merchandising strategy for retail stores

  • Build the visual merchandising strategy of the future focusing on a strong Omnichannel Customer Experience and an easy and intuitive navigation

  • Bring back entertainment, enchantment and experience in stores via innovative tools

  • Work very closely with BUs in order to serve them the best with the International tools delivered to stick to their business needs. Help countries to leverage visual merchandising as a conversion tool

  • Participate in the construction of the 360° International Brand Strategy

  • Manage, lead and develop the International Visual Merchandising Team

  • Report to the International Retail & Omnichannel Director

  • 25% time of travel

Content



  • Identify business needs by analyzing weekly results and KPIs

  • Lead the Visual merchandising strategy & projects, from vision to project management and deployment

  • Focus all tools and developments on the objective of creating an innovative, omnichannel and ultimate customer experience in store

  • Lead, manage & develop a strong International Visual Merchandising team, by infusing the strategy, setting priorities, ensuring deadlines, developing team competencies and maintain good relationship with key departments of the organization

  • Manage and run the assortment related merchandising guidelines in order to increase in store turnover and conversion

  • Lead the pop up strategy and work alongside BUs to test, try and pilot to be constantly innovative on disruptive retail topics

  • Manage the windows development in close collaboration with Creative department

  • Participate in the International Brand strategy 360° by building the visual merchandising vision for campaigns and permanent animations in stores to maximize conversion

  • Work hand in hand with Concept, Communication, Design, Retail and Training department in order to create the most commercially efficient and customer centric tools for our retail stores

  • Continuous improvement and questioning of the strategy and tools to stay best in class and create competitive advantage in VM matters.

  • Manage department budget in a pragmatic yet opportunistic manner.

  • Focus on finding the right “glocal” model to move away from the one size fits all mindset

  • Strong country presence in order to best know their needs.

  • Constant identification & reporting of competition best practices

 

Education & Experience



  • Bachelor degree with at least 10 years experience in visual merchandising

  • Fluent English, French would be highly appreciated

  • Outlook, PowerPoint, excel, word

  • Deep expertise & experience in designing and implementing effective visual merchandising tools
